Terms for Using Our Site and Free Check

We provide the Portland SEO Crew website and free visibility check as general information, on an as-is basis. These terms explain how to understand that information, how paid work is agreed and how we treat AI answers and links to other sites.

Website information and the free check

Our site and the free check provide general information about search visibility. We provide both as is, and we do not guarantee rankings or results.

Receiving the free check gives you information to consider when deciding what to do next. The check itself is general information; any paid work has a separate written agreement as described here.

Agreements for paid SEO work

Any paid work is agreed in writing directly with one of our SEO specialists, the independent SEO professional in our network who does that work. The work takes place under that specialist's terms.

That specialist explains the proposed scope and price before the work begins. The written agreement sets out the paid work you are agreeing to, so review it when deciding whether to proceed.

These website terms describe use of the site and the free check. For paid services, refer to the agreement made directly with that specialist and the terms that apply to the work.

Using AI answers

Answers from our automated assistant and from AI search tools are not a basis for reliance when making decisions about SEO or paid work. Treat them as information to examine, and refer to the written agreement for the work you choose to commission.

An AI-generated answer does not set the terms of a paid engagement. The separate written agreement with the specialist doing the work is where that engagement is agreed.

Links to other websites

Links from our website to other sites are not endorsements. A link points you to another website; its presence does not mean we endorse the information or services you find there.

Keep this distinction in mind when following an external link from our pages. These terms describe our website and free check, including how to understand links we provide to other sites.

Updates to these terms

We may update these terms. Read this page when reviewing the terms for using our website and free visibility check, and review the separate written terms for any paid work.

For a question about these terms, use our website contact form. Calls and chats are answered by an automated assistant and are recorded and transcribed.
